Zoning
Requirement for Zoning Permits:
New House / Commerical Building, etc.
1. Application - Filled out and Signed.
2. Three (3) copies of a Plot Plan drawn to scale (See "Diagram"
on application).
3. One copy of an original "sealed" survey of the property
completed within three years of the date of application.
4. Signed and completed Central Sewage/Water Certificate (if applicable).
5. Copy of Deed or Bill of Sale.
6. Check payable to Lehman
Township in the
amount shown below.
7. Footer Inspection to verify location. Application completed and turned
into our office when ready for inspection.
8. Certificate of Occupancy - A written request is required for us to do
the inspection when completed.
9. Wetlands Certificate Form: Must be signed by owner(s)!
10. A $25.00 Reinspection Fee will be charged for
a failed inspection. This fee must be paid before the township will do a reinspection.
11. Workers' Compensation Insurance Form(s).
Additions, Sheds, Fences, Decks (All Permitted Structures
Except New Houses).
1. Application - Filled out and signed.
2. Three (3) copies of a Plot Plan drawn to scale. (See "Diagram"
on application).
3. Check payable to Lehman
Township in the amoount listed below.
4. Footer Inspection (if applicable) - to verify location. Application must
be completed and turned in to our office when ready for inspection.
5. Certificate of Occupancy - A written request is required for all
permitted structures when completed.
6. A $25.00 Reinspection Fee will be charged for
a failed inspection. This fee must be paid before the township will do a reinspection.
7. Workers' Compensation Insurance Form(s).
8. Trespass Waiver.
One and Two Family Dwellings / Zoning Permit Fee Schedule:
New Contruction & Additions - $50
Garages - $50
Accessory Buildings - 200 sq. ft. or greater - $50
Accessory Buildings - less than 200 sq. ft. - $25
Decks - 144 sq. ft. or greater - $50
Decks - less than 144 sq. ft. - $25
All other Uses - New Construction & Additions
Less than 2000 sq. ft. - $250
2000 - 4000 sq. ft. - $350
Greater than 4000 sq. ft. - $500
Signs, walls, satellite dishes, fences, pools, etc. - $25
